our promise
Before Ms. Rosalie Woodson’s passing in 2011, she actively and continuously operated the Rosalie Woodson Dance Academy in it’s current location for over 50 years. Ms. Woodson personally selected and trained each of her instructors, including those whom still teach today and began as apprentices. We regularly send our instructors to attend classes, workshops, and conventions locally and on the mainland to further their dancing knowledge. Each instructor is trained to teach ballet, tap, and jazz.
Rosalie Woodson Dance Academy is dedicated to its students to use dance technique and choreography, which is age and level appropriate, as a tool to inspire fun learning as well as perseverance, while simultaneously, instilling proper dance etiquette and discipline which are required at all good dance schools. We encourage self-confidence to help empower one for a lifetime of success in any pursuit by consistently providing an array of ongoing dance classes.
CORE VALUES All of our dancers are expected to follow our core values.
